I need help trying to figue out this motor. I got a s13 that I put a rb25det in but yet to get it started. I got a greddy intake man. that every time I add coolant to the radiator it comes out of what I think to be my vacuum fittings. The instuctions are in japanese and havent found any posts about it yet unless I missed them. Can some one help me out? [IMG][/IMG]

coolant runs through the pipe with three sections that you bolted under the intake manifold... probably leaking from there.

Please tell me that the coolant is not coming out of the manifold and that it just looks like it is running out of the barbed fittings.

At second glance, coolant definitely IS coming out of the manifold. This is bad because you have probably filled your cylinders with water. Since this was done, there is most certainly water in the crank case and the oil is ruined. Stop trying to fill the radiator and drain the oil before you do anything else.

You need to track down where the water is getting into the manifold. Is the IACV connected to a 5/8" heater hose for some odd reason? I honestly can't see how someone could hook it up wrong because it is so intuitive.

Take more pics from a little further out to get a better view of the intake side of the engine from the TB back.

Thats messed up like said above drain your oil,let your cylinders dry out and post up pics of how you have everything hooked up to that manifold.

I just installed a Freddy on a friends car...the fitment of some things have to be massaged but the only way there would be coolant in the intake mani itself is if the manifold was damaged badly or there was a water line hooked into the throttle body.

I think I found the colpret. THe IACV was hooked into a coolant line. But just to reasure myself, the line coming off the intercooler pipeing does it conect to the IACV?

Yes, the IACV needs to connect to the charge piping and definitely not the coolant LOL. Make sure the throttle body doesn't have coolant lines going to it either.
