insomnia has the best of me... going over the misc. bumps in the road i've experienced and still experiencing with my swap, lead me to think of this. When i pulled my drivetrain from the clip.... i noticed the heater hoses on the block made a big loop.... what i mean by loop: both heater hoses that are on the backside of the block never went through the firewall... instead they are joined together with various hose clams and platic fittings.... so what i'm getting at is... should i disconnect these heater hoses and hook up the heater hoses that are protruding from the firewall in my 240?

I think you should. See, I can deal with no A/C. But no heat in the winter is pushing it.

I don't have heat right now. I'm in Cali- but still cold. You can also help cool down your engine if you have the heater on since it will circulate the hot coolant through the heater core.
