I did use the search button and only found out enough to give me another question. How thick would the head gasket on the RB25 (an aftermarket metal one) need to be to make a change in the CR? What is the stock gasket’s thickness? Another question is that, would too thick of a gasket cause problems for the Head studs going in and fastening correctly (Let’s assume that stock thickness is 1mm, I have seen some gasket available as thick as 2mm)? On another topic, changing out the stock intake manifold on the RB25 with a Greddy one would force me to get a new fuel rail and injectors, but are the injectors used in the Greddy intake manifold side or top feed injectors? I am pretty sure that the stock ones are side feed. Also I think I understand the difference between low and high impedance of injectors but what does the RB25 use (I think it was high) and what would be required for the Greddy intake manifold again?

Thanks

Wail

With the greddy intake you can use the stock side feed rail but they sell a rail to use top feed injectors. The rb25 injectors are high impedance, You can run what ever impedance you want but if it is low you need use a resistor.

1.2mm stock, a 1.8mm HKS will lower it nicely and don't worry about the headbolts, they will be fine.

Thanks guys

YamaOni what do you mean by a resistor for the lower impedance? Are you talking about a fuel pressure regulator or what?

Thanks Again

I am having trouble explaining this but for example you computer is set for high impedance lets say 12 ohm and you want to run low impedance lets say 1.2 ohm you need to drop the signal Some infohttp://www.sdsefi.com/injectors.htmhttp://www. ... fuel_3.htm

Great info. and I think I get it know. I should have known I just learned all this stuff in physics last semester. Thanks though.
