rb25 has a miss

just finished my swap and i have been having some problems. first when driving when lettingoff the gas and the car drops to idle it would die. so i checked a few sensors and checked for possible vacum leaks. now the car has a miss to it if i hold the throttle open at any rpm and let it stay there it has a miss in it. and when it drops to idle it gets real lo and wants to die and after going to highr rpms it will die. i pulled the iacv and cleaned it thinking it was clogged up but it didn't help. does anyone know what my problem could be?

and on another small problem my running lights don't come on. but when i hit the blinker either direction both of the rear running lights flash with them. anyone know what could be wrong there?

Hmmmmm i had sort of the same prob with my rb20 and it turned out to be a bad spark plug. Actually the whole tip burnt off of the spark plug but your timing could also be off and u may also have a bad coil. Others that have experienced exactly what u have would be able to help u alot better than i ever could but just putting some input in.

Yeah I had 2 cylinders missing I changed all the spark plugs and 2 coils and the ignitor chip but still one was missing. I found out an injector was clogged so a few taps from a hammer later it was straight. I would try changing the plugs that was the main issue. If you have problems beyond there check the coils then check if you are getting fuel.~ANDREW~

yeah when i first put the engine in the car i changed all the plugs and checked the coil packs all of them worked. i will check out the injectors today. I know for sure the car is running really rich have a bigger fuel pump and still running the stock fpr.

Even if one of the cylinders is missing constant it will seem like it is running on all 6 at lower rpm's and the miss only becomes noticeable when you rev it up high. The car is running very rich because one of the cylinders isnt firing at all which would suggest that your injectors is working and flowing fuel into the missing cylinder which isnt being ignited and it is just getting a fresh feed of fuel over the O2 sensor giving the rich reading so i still will go with an electrical problem having to do with the spark somwhow. Just my .02 cents.
