I have a chance to get a RB... complete front clip RB25 for 2200 and RB20 for 1000. I want the RB25, but the price for the RB20 is pretty sweet too. I need opinions to which one would you guys get? Thanks.

Let me just go ahead and say what everyone always says - depends on your goals, and budget. RB20 would be sufficient for most people, and at that price, you can get great deal of stuff with the 1500 you saved. In fact, it'd be more than a match for the stock 25 if you put all that saved money towards engine upgrades. So, that'd be my choice - RB20.

Just curious, how are you getting them so cheap? Just happen to know an importer or something? I hope you trust the person selling them. Remember that old saying, anything that sounds too good to be true, usually is.

I don't know any importers, but my cousin knows the people selling the motors and made deal with the guy. We're getting the 2 rb motors for sure. They were overstocked with rb20s and since him and my cousin are friends he's gonna cut us a deal...

My cousin went to talk to the guy this afternoon and he said that he'll throw in a vlsd and aftermarket intercooler with the rb25 although I don't know which brand... all my cousin told me was that it's bigger than the stock intercooler. :D

Sorry guys there's only one rb20 at this price and me and my cousin is already picking it up... but he'll do 1500 for rb20 and 2200 for sr20.

Hell I just found out last night that one of my old friends is working for an engine importer. Is trying to convince me to go SR20 again because he says i can get the clip for $1300 shipped. But anyways whats this guys info I would really want to get one of those RB20's within the next month ordered.

That's a decent price for both clips... so I wouldn't skimp out and pass up the one with more stock potential - RB25DET..

If they are overstocked on RB20s, just pass their name onto us.. I'm sure we can help em out with that problem :D

Indeed. Like as in today. I have the loan check just burning a hole in my pocket...and a piglet begging for 6 cylinders.
