Hey guys I was finally able to get my rb25 started and all I can say is that I had shivers all throughout my body when I first fired her up!!! I cannot wait to get this thing on the road!! I will post pics and vids up a little later but first I have some problems I need to sort out. Here is the list of mods I have:

Greddy ManifoldQ45 throttlebodyGTR FMIC with custom IC piping3" DownpipeKoyo RadiatorDual 12" electric fansTrunk mounted batteryAutometer water temp gaugeAutometer boost gauge

Everything else is stock

Now to my problems... I'm trying to wire up my q45 Throttlebody right now, and I'm not quite sure which wire is signal and which is power for the TB. with one wiring setup, the car idles at 20Hg, and with another wire setup it idles at 15Hg. So I need to know what the rb is supposed to idle at.

Next problem is that when I rev the engine it won't go out of vacuum. At most it will go to about 5Hg and sit there. It revs fine but just won't go into boost. So does the motor need to be under load for it to boost? and if so how low Hg will it go to NOT under load...

And final problem is that my autometer temp gauge doesn't seem to be working( or at least reading any temps. I Teed off one of the coolant lines, went to home depot and with a few adapters, attached the temp sensor to a barbed fitting so that it would attach the Teed water line. So I need to fix that. Also I was looking for the KA temp sensor to switch out with my RB one so I can at least have some sort of temp reading, but when I went to Nissan all they could find was the two wire temp sensor(Looks like the RB one that goes to the ECU). So does anyone have a Part Number for the other temp sensor that goes to the gauges?

I just bought the temp sensor from Oreilly Auto Parts.Item:BWD WT607If you don't have an Oreilley's, just check a local parts store.

the 25 spools very quickly with the stock turbo, so just reving should be making boost.

you could also order the metric adapter for the autometer gauge. I don't know that it fits for sure, but might be worth a try.
