I have a blown rb25det series1 and would like to replace it with the same engine. If anyone knows of anybody who wants to get rid of theres, just notify me. I am in no rush so I am looking for a deal (cheap). Thanks.

how bad is your long block? maybe i'll take if off from you if it's rebuildable?

I blew it killing a 740i. I don't know how bad it is since I haven't taken it apart. I will slowly start taking it apart at the start of the year. But for now, I miss my car so if I can find a good deal on an rb25det I might as well swap it out.

I'll let you know if I run across one... I know Venus was selling motor sets cheap... maybe they'll sell you just the motor, or you could strike a deal with someone who wants a RB26 swap and sell them the trans.

hey I know where they got a RB25DET motor laying around go call Japan Parts in South San Francisco their # is 650-871-9191 ask for Frank..they'll probbly sell it to you for like $800-1000 just the long block
