How much boost will the stock RB25 ECU support in regards to pulling/adding timing?

boost is relative to the turbo

it will support more than your stock turbo can hold.

okay, so what boost level is the stock ecu good for on a stock trim turbo?

the ecu is safe past the turbo

the turbo is good to around 12psi before it gets hairy.

I'm not concern with the ACTUAL stock turbo, I've already read all about the 12, 13,14,15 psi theories.

On a turbo that flows like the actual stock turbo, what psi will the stock ecu support?

your ecu will be fine till you start having to upgrade injectors, wich is gonna be around the 300whp range. then you need to start thinking about standalone or piggyback systems.

Thanks man. Good to know I can run the stock ecu until I run out of injector.

275hp

my rb25stock ecu and stock injectors couldnt run my t3/t4 trim at 10psi. it barely ran 8psi

its gonna compensate way to much and drown the car. but a simple safc could take care of that lil of tuning needed.

sum it all up: not much, the stock ecu compensates to much fuel. so you could prob get away with 8-10psi on a t3/t4 turbo.

To contiune this conversation. I've had concerns of running lean when cranking the stock turbo to 10psu (on my rb25) I have stock setup minus the intake mani(custom) and would like to hit 10 psi but don't want to lean her out, at the moment I'm guess I'll have to wait for a Wideband but wanted to know who is running 10psi stock turbo. I also am on the stock FPR so no turning that up.

you wont run lean. the stock ecu is gonna over compensate with fuel. if you have any problems, youll be drowning the car, not running lean

so what would be a concern for running 10psi? if any? I just don't want to run out of fuel since I can't adjust my regulator at the time.
