rb25 do I need to get it tune to run 10psi?

The other day I installed the manual boost controller to raise the boost up 10psi. I lean out the wide throttle on the safcII a little bit, the wide band read solid 11.4 to 11.5 through third gear. It runs fine when I get on it from first through third but when I put on third going about 30mph and floor it, it start cutting out around 3000-3500 rpm. It does the samething on fourth and fifth gear but not on first and sencond gear. It runs fine when I take out the boost controller. So what do you guy think what wrong with it? need to be tune? Thanks
