I am trying to get my cruise to work on my swap in my S13. I have a series II RB25DET. I got the s13 components mounted but the problem I have is the throttle body doesn't have a channel on it for the cruise cable. Did anyone else's RB25 TB have on setup for cruise? If so wanna swap? I think all you would have to do is take the nut off the end of the TB butterfly shaft and take the channel off. I can send you my old spacer.

Ditto. I need the same thing for my RB20. Got cruise all wired up and ready to go, but no throttle body channel. Maybe they don't use cruise in Japan???

Maybe we can use the actuators from something like a Maxima or Sentra. All that's needed is a mirror image of the 240SX actuator.

Interesting tho.... all of the throttle cable brackets have a location for a cruise control cable too.

How about using a larger Throttle body off an infinity. Most of them have Cruise control on them. What TB's will bolt on and be same size if not larger?

You have an Infinity? Is the throttle actuator on the left hand or right hand side as you are looking into the intake plenum? With RB's it is on the RHS, but it's on LHS on KA's.

Just to bring this back..if I add a bracket to the throttlebody I'm gonna use, and put my cruise cable hooked to it, then will I have cruise? Or does it need some wiring from the ka ecu or anything else? Just curious how easy it is to add cruise to an rb20'd 240 s14. Thanks.

Cruise works totally independent of the ECU. If you just keep your original cruise wiring, you should be fine. You will of course need to have a working, accurate speedometer, which you probably do have if you used the KA speed sensor.

Let us know how you hook up the channel. I looked at a lot of USDM Nissan engines and couldn't find a single one with a right-hand mounted throttle actuator.

Well I have a 2001 Mustang GT 65mm Throttlebody I'm gonna use on my custom intake manifold, and it has only a single spot for a cable, but I'm going to weld on a bracket for the cruise cable and make it work. And yes, I will be using a ka sensor. I'll let everyone know how it works.

Thanks for the info,Nick
