When doing an RB25 swap into an S14 do you have to use the KA coolant temp sensor in the RB to get an accurate reading???

There are 2 sensors. One sensor is the Coolant Temp Sensor for the ECU. And the other is the Temp Sensor for the Gauge. Which are you looking for? The one for the ECU is Nissan # 22630-44B20. Not sure about the sensor for the gauge.

Im asking about the one for the gauge. Im asking could my gauge not be working because its a RB sensor and not a KA sensor.

Im using the stock RB25 sensor and my gauge reads just fine. Mines a 95 S14 as well.
