Where exactly is the coolant bleeder screw on the rb25? When I drive my car to and from college, (A 2 hr drive) It runs fine and does not over heat, but within 10 seconds after I turn off the car, the coolant boils and pours out of my resovior.

How do you know you're car doesn't overheat? what gauge are you using?

The coolant bleeder screw is located right next to the intake manifold. Its the thing sticking out with a 10 mm screw on it. It also has lines going under the manifold, and to the throttle body.

You can also bleed from the radiator cap itself.

Run the car to normal op, run the heat full blast on high, rev to 3k for 5 minutes.

Let sit 5 minutes.

Take rad cap off , wait 5 minutes

repeat till the water in the radiator doesn't move after taking off the cap.

I'm using the stock s13 temp gauge. I know it works beceause when the lower radiator hose had a hole in it and I didnt know it, the temp gauge jumped all the way up. Normaly, the gauge stays right in the midddle once the engine is warmed up. I did run the engine with the radiator cap off and the front end up to try get air out but it still does the same thing. I have a koyo and my fans do work.

are you sure your fans are blowing in the correct directions and aren't wired backwards. Either pulling or pushing air through the radiator. That same issue happened to me yesterday after i had switched the fan wires around. So as i drove i was fine but when i stopped at my house it boiled and then came out temp gauge ka was at halfway.

when you installed the IC, did you have to cut the bottom of your front end? I had to cut off the bottom part that helps feed air to the radiator. I made a new panel out of sheet metal and it made quite a difference in the temps that i was seeing.

what is your water to coolant mixture? A common mistake (i made it once) is to run 80% coolant and 20% water, but you should be the opposite of that. I went 10% coolant, some 40below(like water weter) and 90% water.

once i get motivated, or the temps get down to the 80s here in SA, I will be relocating my radiator by cutting and welding in some new bracing to lean it forward. By doing this it should allow for puller fans to be installed. I know plenty of people are using pushers just fine, but the pullers just work better.

Yea I did have to cut the whole bottom piece off the bumper. I use 50/50 coolant. I guess Ill make a piece to direct air to the radiator.
