which cam gears, clutches, and an exhaust manifold do you guys use or recommend for RB25 application? I just want the best quality rather than going cheap and then go buy another similar one.

well i am guessing you have a rb25det but as far as cam gears go....you would only be able to use the exhaust side cam gear unless you plan on taking off the vtc for the intake side. As for your manifold it all depends on what kind of setup you are using and how much money you plan on spending. I am using a lovefab top mount manifold. Lastly, your clutch setup also depends on what kind of power/torque you are making and again how much money you want to spend. I am using a os giken twin plate which in my opinion is way to much clutch for a stock setup. Well if anyone has anything else they can through in or correct me on ....

1) cam gears: HKS or Greddy2) clutch: Exedy, ACT, SPEC3) exhaust manifold: BoostFab custom manifold.... (or stock cast manifold for small turbo )

I run the HKS gears, but don't like them. I have heard bad things about them, and there is only a couple bolts holding them in position. The tomei units look a lot better IMHO.

As for the clutch, I don't like the super single units. To much clamping pressure/pedal weight and tuff engagment. Didn't somebody have a ACT or cheaper type super single explode on them recently? I'd say a nice twin plate would handle more than what most people with RB25's throw at them.

BoostFab makes pretty good manifolds, along with 6boost and fullrace if you said money was no object.
