i just bought cam gears for my rb25 S1 from a local shop. I got BDL industries cam gears and only one fits the exhast side. The intake side doesn't fit and i called them and they said that it shouldbecause of the part numbers. My question is, Is their a company that make cam gears for a rb25? because of the odd intake cam gear(the camshaft).

The cam gear that you ordered does not fit the intake side because the intake side has VVT. If you want to get rid of your VVT, which I know nothing about but have heard is a pain, you can use your new cam gear. Most guys keep the VVT and just run an exhaust cam gear, if any at all. How similar are the two cam gears? Could you sell one of them and use it as an exhaust gear? Dumb question I know, but just curious.

they both look the same, and both fit the exhaust cam. I could do that just do the exhaust side and sell the other one which will fit the exhaust side.

How do the "dots" line up on the teeth? They are used to set the timing belt, but if they are different on each cam gear people might not want to buy it from you. I guess you could always just line them up and color the tooth in or something, but that's kinda ghetto.
