Badass, but i think im perfectly happy with the 3 inches of throw on my transmission as it is... i cant imagine what a short shifter would feel like. I could shift so unbelievably fast.

Just a heads up for anyone planning to buy a c's shifter from nengun. They have just emailed me that there are no more shifters left and that they would not be available again till mid march...

even if they are in stock of stuff, nengun is pretty slow at getting stuff shipped out. i think i waited a month or more to get some parts for my rb swap back in the day.

NO CLUE. hahah. its like christmas morning when youre 5 years old.

anyhow, i think im gonna shoot nengun another email. hopefully they respond this time.

The install is very straight forward once you look at the pictures in the instructions. I installed mine a few weeks ago and it is WAY better than stock. The throw isnt as short as B&M thank god, but the feel is very nice. Feels much more direct than the stock one did.

my r34 rb25det shifter seems to fit fine in my r33 rb25det trans. shifts fine and looks identical.

So someone buy the ECR34 rb25det C's shifter and see if it fits. Once thats confirmed we can all start buying the ECR34 ones:)

Install is a cakewalk and i see no need for a write up. As for impressions, all i can say is I love the shifter. Its one of the mods you feel and enjoy everytime you drive the car. Also if you do plan on going through nengun, definitely email them before and make sure they have them in stock. I actually ended up paying more because the first time I ordered they refunded me back the money, because they had no idea when the were going to get more in. Only problem with that was I ended up losing like $20, because the currency rate had changed. So two words of advice from ordering from nengun, don't ever get your money refunded unless the rates have changed in your favor, and expect to wait a month for parts to arrive. I don't think they every keep parts stocked in their own shop.

everything ive gotten from nengun takes at least a month to get. The C's is definately awesome. Better than the STI shifter I have in my WRX, really positive feel.

no, all i said is the oem r34 rb25det shifter fits fine in my r33 rb25det trans, which would imply the C's r34 shifter also fits despite having different p/ns, and i'm asking you to confirm that

$228 dollars? Holy hell are you guys getting rapped! You know that those shifters only cost about 15,000 yen, or about $123, right. Look here.

http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi

That is a currency conversion site.

If I had the time and the money, I would set something up to get you guys those shifter for you for a fraction of what you are paying.

That damned JDM tax really sucks for you guys, and I wish I could help out.

Tell you what. If I get a few guys that want one bad enough. I know where I can get at least 3 R33 shifters.

E-mail me at [email protected].

I'll sell them to you for 175 shipped if I can get them.

I'd really like to pick a C's shifter up, someone should stock these in the US more often.

thats hard to do. i have no idea what the current status of C's as a company is these days. but they went under a couple years ago. then somebody revived the company, ran some more shifters, and went out of biz shortly after. so who knows if they're even being made anymore. the problem is that they're becomming scarce.

Guys, you'll have to forgive me for last night. I was a little inebriated and I didn't give you all the information.

The place I usually see them is at a second hand parts store which is at least a 30 minute drive away in good traffic, and they have a limited supply as it is. And I was only stating a price that I saw them for last year. I am not sure what they are now.

This is what I will do, though. I will run over there today and see what they have. Once I get back, I will post to let you know how many and how much.

On another note, you guys have to understand, I am one man who works three jobs and have very little time to myself. I don't mind finding parts if I come across them and I am in the area.

I hope you all understand. I will try to get over there today, but what I ask is to please cease on the e-mails. Those who have already e-mailed me will get one if the place has them. I am effectively closing this order here.

Thanks.

Well, gang. I just got back from the Autobacs used parts store, and the only C's shifters they had were for 8-6's, SW20's and some Honda I didn't know. Oh, and they had a few Subie ones too. Sorry to get your hopes up gang.
