Hey guys. I am just curious to know how many of you use your RB as a daily driver? I will be swapping in an RB25 into my s13 this April and although it won't be my daily driver in the sense that I won't need it to get to work, the market, etc. it WILL BE my only car.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I dont see having an rb25 as a daily driver will be any different than having any other engine---just maintain it good, and it will serve you good. These engines used to be in normal Skylines that are daily driven! But to get your point, I daily drive my rb25 with upgraded turbo to and from school everyday (around 130 miles total).

Mine is currently my one and only car so its truly my daily driver. Its just like any other car/engine, with the exception of not being able to run to the dealership to get replacement parts.

Yes, I clearly understand that the engine was at one time an OEM unit in a Skyline and was thus designed to be reliable and trustworthy. I was just wondering how many people actually put faith in that fact and have it as their only means of transportation.

Thanks for the replies and keep them coming!

I have an rb20 daily driver and it is great minus the snow aspect going to a school in Pennsylvania, Grove City. I currently go to a school that is 8 hours from my home in NC. It made the drive fine and has also made several long tips including 6 hours to WV and Ohio. I have also taken many trips to Pit. which is an hour. This is a great daily car if you do it right and rot half assed. - Andrew -
