RB25 AND 300ZX TRANSMISSION SIMILARITIES

hi, i did a lot of searching and couldn't find much on this but does anyone think it would be hard to put aftermarket parts from a automatic z32 into the automatic rb25 transmission like a valve body and quick shift. i know that internally they are the same but would this also work with the automatic transmission? any positive advise would be great

since there is not to many people on here that run auto rb trannies your best bet is to get a stock valve body from a z32 and just compare the two and if there the same then i say go for it.

i couldn't find any helpful information on that website so i guess my best bet is to do the comparison with both transmissions. after i do the comparison and if they are similiar or even if they aren't i will do a write up on the swap. thanks for the help

I think d356bud meant that you would probably have better luck posting this question at skylinesaustralia...I haven't seen many, if any people on nico running auto rb's, whereas I've seen more than a few running them on skylinesaustralia. Good luck either way!
