it's been done and discussed but to the best of my knowledge it hasn't been done the the S130, the S30 and Z31 and even the Z32 have all been recipients of various incarnatiosn of RB turbo swaps but the S130 might make a decent candidate bit for my money the L28ET is the best bang for the buck on the S30 and S130, especially when you consider it's a direct bolt in

wow, that wiring thread is awesome and ill need some time to sift through the rest of the info. i really appreciate the time and consideration it took, especially because there have probably been dozens of this same basic thread started by noobs like me. I have considered doing an l28et swap and it just doesn't do it for me. My heart is set on an rb. But I appreciate your concern for my bank account

you can do an rb25 on stock mounts fairly easily. Use the rb20 transmission. I know many see this as taboo but whatever it saves you a custom driveshaft. Also get the 200zr rear sump oilpan pickup and gasket. Like $200 for all 3 at the most. cut the little tabs off the rb mounts. drop it in wire it up. If you dont want to do the harness, Mickenny has you covered for 450 i think.

The shifter will sit forward although and may require trimming of the hole.

the bellhousings, timput shaft length, and geraing might vary but same basic internals, they get swapped around pretty regularly
