So I took my rb20 swap from one car to another. It was sohc to sohc car. Everything was plug and play. It ran great in the beater. pulled strong to 6800 or so in 1-4, never maxed out 5th. So now everthing runs great, a little hard to start (have to give it gas) and she falls off at 4500 or so. It will take a 1/2 mile of road to get her to see 6500. boost goes to 10psi, and tapers off at about 8. No big deal. the only really thing that has changed in the swap, is aluminum d.s. , 18'' sportmax's, IC pipng kit, and hks ssq bov. Battery relocation too. I've done some research, and I've got a few ideas.

Walbro was wired diff. in the beater -high/low volume options. Could it have been wired to high volume all the time?

SAFC settings lost?

Low compression?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Seems basic, but have you changed the fuel filter on that car? On my old 20 I had the same deal, seemed like days to get from 5K to 7K, turned out my fuel filter was horribly clogged.

Other than that check for leaks.
