Hey, this is my first post. You guys have been alot of help before I was a member now I'm hoping to pitch in.
But first...
I have a 1989 240sx Hatch and a 89 coupe.
The coupe had a running rb20det in it when I got it. My hatch is in way better condition so I decided to swap my motors over. I have my old KA in the coupe and running beautifuly but I cant get the rb in the hatch to even turn over using the ignition. I can use a screwdriver to jump the starter and turn the motor over tho.
I used a wiring guide off of this forum to conect the four wires near the battery and they are connected correctly and securely. I swapped out the blue relay in the passenger side fender and still nothing.
I keep blowing out the ing. switch fuse and the only thing I can think MIGHT be wrong is when it was in the coupe the guy had the fuel pump wired to a switch but there was also a hot wire spliced into the ecu somewere but I dont remember which on and I cant think of WHY it would be there. Also theres a cut orange wire on the ecu which i believe is an ignition wire.
Please help me. I supposed to be moving to miami but this stupid swap is holding me back.
