Yes its the first time I wired a nissan engine... I have done hondas before. Everything worked fine, I had a few questions. one was step 7) what white wire? answer: 8 gauge wire( real thick one inside of the loom) . I am also having problems with the starter wires, I think its because my car was an automatic. problem is I cant connect the wire because it activates the starter without ignition key input. It could also be because I didnt use the Ka positive battery harness. Branden (wiring write up author)was a Big help! Also you have to hook up the piping or it wont start!

I JUST USED THE KA LOWER HARNESS AND SPLICED THE RB PLUGS ONTO IT. THERE WERE A FEW OTHER THINGS THAT I CAN'T THINK OF OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD.

ONE THING IS IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MAF HOOKED UP IT WILL NOT START AND IDLE.

Got a question? My car was an automatic... if I jumper the auto trans wires I can use the key to start the car? I retained the rb trans harness, only thing I kept was the speed sensor. I have read that I need to jumper the wires on the transmission harness? Is it possible to just jumper the wires in the console area where the shifter is? If so then which ones?
