RB20DET wirring help

Ok so i have read the post that tells you the wirring process of the rb20det to s13 chassis. alot of it doesnt add up and im really confused i look at my car and there is multi colored wires and none match up to the guide so i dont know if its different between the s13 dual cam or single cam wirring set up. if anyone knows a detailed website or post that could possibly help that would be much apriciate thanks

been there bud, best bet is to just send your harness out.

I sent mine to marcos at the SR20 store and dropped it off on wed picked next wed. installed the harness in the car in bout an hour and it fired right up and everything worked

Marcos is currently out the country and wont be back in the shop till after the 12th. tell him alfredo sent ya. oh yeah he charges between 350-400 bucks,, well worth it

ok i got a fairly detailed diagram now i need to get a diagram for the chassis fusebox everything else should be fine. anyone know a place where i could get what wire from the fuse box is what?

Theres one. Have you checked the race bred one out? And yeah check Carl Hs out. I've heard there are 8 different variations for the rb20 harness. I didnt see mine out there either. You have to piecemeal it together from different guides thats what i found...

Theres only three or four wires you need to hook up to get running fully on the upper harness. Only two of which are on the big grey oval KA clip. Another from the RB is the white/purple, which goes to the THICK white wire coming outta the KA fuse box. The last is the fuel pump relay which is black/pink (dig around near the main harness clip on the RB to find it, its not on the main part) to black/pink KA on the small brown clip. I just pulled mine tonight ill go check the wires and post up in here.

Now OP the ONLY wire you need to be concerned about with regards to the fuse box is the THICK white wire thats going into it. Splice (or "tee") the white/purple one into that. Its pretty obvious which one it is.

Wiring in the RB20 is not hard. You just need to take your time and research research research.

Also, this one doesnt have S13--Rb20 but it has S13-RB25and S14 Rb20 conversions with some really helpful pics that willhelp you out as to what the plugs look like and such.

ok awesome thanks. this wiring is really overwelming me i cant find 90% of the wires to match to the rb harness from my ka chassis harnes i have only been able to find the black and pink ones the others i can find but they go into plugs. am i suposed to cut the plugs and wire it individually? im so lost in this its not even funny

Im pretty sure theres only something like 3 or 4 important plugsthat you need to wire in. Just read the tuts, they explain the differentplugs and what wires you gotta wire into them accordingly.

Thats about as much help as i can give you, as i havent quite gotten to the wiring myself, but i found the three links i gave you to be the most helpful and easy to understand.
