OK, im at my wiring point in my swap and having a bit of trouble (confusion) I got the wiring guide that wulfgang posted up here a while ago and when I look at the O, P, and Q plugs the wire colors are different as referenced in the guide. i.e. on the O plug 'a' is referenced as a green/orange wire, but on my O plug its grey. Its not just that they are switched up but some are totally different colors, so im not sure what im supposed to do because my wire colors are completley different...

Thanks, Ji

I am unaware of any grey wires, other than a few shielded cables such as the O2 sensor, MAF sensor, and maybe a few others. But really, I don't remember seeing any individual grey wires.... don't even know what the color code for grey is.

What year and model is your engine from? Also, do you have the same plugs with different color wires, or are the plugs totally different?

you can cheack out the info here

http://nicoclub.com/zerothread...=rb20

if you scroll down you can find everything with the f3 plug and which wire and color is which.ll you can also go here and get more info on it.

as far as the plugs and the wires they were in the right place for me... just try and find each plug and see most of the wires and colors match on it.. I do know that in the s13 write up one of those plugs is left in the front but in the s14 you have to make it go into the dash..

The attached file is what my O Plug looks like

a - brown wireb- purple/white stripec - whitee - orangef - light green/red stripeg - light green/ black stripeh - light green

and where that shaded red box is i have a light blue wire going there

I searched to see if i had an A31 or R32, and I do in fact have an R32, so I have no idea why my wires are switched up like this?

Hmm... that's fishy. There are no purple wires with a white stripe in the engine harness anywhere (according to the R32 FSM). If you happened to be given an RB26DETT instead of an RB20DET, there would be another connector that is similar to the O plug, but it still would not have those color codes.

Can you take a pic of the connector?

all of those light green wires and purple and brown on the same plug sound like the wires for the wipers... I could be wrong but the pulgs on the rb wiper mortor are those colors.. and also look the same as KA wiper color. did you get that plug from under the rb dash or from under the hood?

When I pulled it from my R32 clip, those wires were behind the firewall, under the dash, plugged into the R32 dash harness
