rb20 is not the best or strongest swap in the world but for the money u cant beat it. ca's are pretty cheap too and for what they cost and how they perform u cant beat it. i dont care for rb for drift coz i dont like the way the extra weight feels in the front but thats just my preference. for a cheap saturday night street terror... a tangle with a good strong rb20 is no easy task. ive seen myself more power out of a stock ca and stock rb than i have out of a stock sr. a guy i knew named in tennessee when i lived there had a machine shop rebuild his ca, stock rebuild. John replaced the stock turbo (blown) with a used red top sr t25. it made 211hp 202tq @ stock 7.5psi at the crank. sr20 makes 205hp 203tq crankshaft so what does that say. give a ca18 the same t25 turbo and it makes more power and 1ft lb tq less.

Didn't know your truck was setup to be a sports car and not a truck?????.
my point is that a turbocharger is used to increase engine output. u can take a 4 door turbo volvo and make power but its not a high performance car. a twin turbo 300zx is much better platform to build for performance. yes the sr can make power and yes it can make good power... great power. all im saying is there are, in my honest opinion, better ways of making that power. my truck wasnt a b*tch, but a tundra is alot better for towing than my 2.4 turbo was. better platform, better functionality

If I had the money to get the sr I would have gone rb25, but I didnt so I got the next best swap.
when it is all said and done if peak power is what your after then get a big block v8 and build the snot out of that.

LoL my car has a exhaust system on it. It didn't meet up with my old down pipe so that's why it's loud in that vid. Anyway 20-25-26-30 it won't matter if you don't have money to fix it up. If ur looking for big power just build a RB30 because 3.0 can never lose.

well thats a nice rb20 s14, thanx for uplaoding the video. Did you ever dyno it with the exhaust hooked up? When I got mine running, I drove it once or twice without one and it seemed weaker then when I put it on.

Yeah but I was having problems with my EVC4 last time I had it on the dyno :(. I'm too poor to work on it at the moment so it's just collecting dust at my friends place. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL4T6UcD_H0 In the 1st video it was just a cheap manual boost controller that we put on because they wanted to see my car run. I have since figured out the problem with the EVC4 just haven't been back to play with it some more.

what was it doing in that last vid? did it just keep building boost till you let of the gas? I did that on mine the other day. I when to turn the boost up(man boost cont) and turned it a little tooooo much lol. got in the car hit the gas, and the thing maxxed my 20psi gauge out. I let off the gas real quick.

tell me, what power do you think I should make on this setup:
rb20 all stock but rb25 turbo on 15psi
large single sided inlet(2.5in) outlet(2.5) frontmount
2.5 turbo elbow hooked to 3inch downpipe, tespipe and catback
no power steering or ac
walbro 255
n60 and a 3in intake alum pipe
oh and my greddy turbo timer, that should be good for at least 45hp at the wheels right?
any idea what I should make on that?

It was over boosting. It was suppose to start at 8psi but it went to 22psi. 240whp shouldn't be a problem with your setup.
