Hi All, I have an RB20DET in an S13 and I'm in dire need of a engine vacuum diagram or some pics of where all the vac. lines go, as well as the big one that runs across the top of the engine... I am also trying to get a better idea of how the stock blow-off valve was plumbed in to the intake.

If you have a diagram or wouldn't mind taking a few pics of the engine hoses for me I'd really really really apreciate it! :D:ylsuper

Do you have a camera? It might be a better idea to take a picture of the lines you are curious about and have someone here tell you more about where they go..

Well, I really am looking for a vaccum hose diagram, I need to recheck everything. I bought the car with the motor already in place but running poorly, so I'd just be taking pictures of every hose in the engine bay..lol

Thanks again everyone!

I'LL SEE IF I CAN GET A PIC OF ME ESM TONIGHT...WELL THATS IF I GO TO MY EXS HOUSE. WHATS THE SYMPTOMS? MAYBE WE CAN HELP.... THERE ARE ABOUT 5 OF US THAT CAN HELP YOU TROUBLESHOOT THIS. ONE QUESTION: IS THE LITTLE NIPPLE ON THE BACK OF THE MANIFOLD OPEN? IF IT IS THATS A PRESSURE LEAK THAT NEED TO BE PLUGGED.

Well, the car hunts quite a bit at idle, it will idle just fine for 5 minutes, then begin to stumble and run like crap until it stalls. Usually if I give it a blip of the gas it will clear out and run for another few minutes.

It's also pig rich on WOT all thru the rev range so I think I have a boost leak, altho I haven't been able to verify that.

When I got the car it had a R31 RB20det MAF on it, so I thought that was the problem and ordered a R32 RB20DET Silvertop MAF and installed it, but no luck... it seems to have cleared up the idle problem a little bit, but it's not gone.

One thing I was thinking is my o2 sensor takes a sh1t load of time to register on my A/F gauge, so perhaps the o2 heater wires are not connected or I just need a new o2 sensor.. I'll check that next.

as for the nipple on the back of the intake, that's where they plugged in the hose for the boost gauge so it's sealed off.

hmmm
