Just picked up a RB20det from Neotech this pass week. There's some unknown plug on my harness, if anyone can tell me what it is and where it goes I'll really appreciated it. I try searching for these but nothing comes up, and there' not mention in the RB wiring section, the FSM on here will only let me go to page 100 before it freezes up. I got this with my RB, I cant find the other end of the cut wiring on the harness can anyone tell me what it is? Could it be a MAP sensor?

I have no clue where this plug goes. Is it necessary?

Plug 1 is where you plug it under the dash right? What is plug2 and 3?

Thanks for helping out a first time RB. I've done SR's swap before and its easy but the RB swap is starting to discourage me

hard to tell in the pic but it looks like you are missing the crescent shaped cam seal on the back of the intake cam... maybe its just the angle but if so that could mean bad things for the motor

plug 2 is useless but 1 and 3 are key to the car running.

If the motor ran for a long time with the seal missing you might have oil starvation problems. When you pull the covers check for metal on metal issues. Thats a large hole for oil to escape from ya know...
