i have been building up my rb thats in my 93 240sx and i am getting ready for a turbo upgrade. I want a turbo that will spool fast and make atleast 600whp.

Also will 450cc dsm injectors fit in an rb

haha first, "fast spool" and 600whp dont exist. period.

secondly, even if DSM 450's worked (im not sure) they wont get you ANYWHERE near 600whp.

you realize how much money it takes to get to those numbers? i dont think you do. full engine build, full standalone, big drivetrain upgrade, etc.

I'm pretty sure dsm injectors will work, but like Kamin said they won't get you anywhere near 600hp let alone 600 at the wheels.

yeah, give those 450's a shot, let us know how spectacular your engine blow was. And what's your reason for needing 600whp?

an rb20 won't make 600hp, ever, at least not for more than a few minutes. it's not meant for it.

rb25 will get you up to around 500hp with the right money and mod selection. take hints from other cars that have already done it, copy their setup.

snowcat, you don't think a fully built rb20 would hold that kind of power? I think it would, though nobody has proven it yet to my knowledge. nobody wants to dump THAT much money into an rb20 get a HKS GT-RS turbo, shoot for 300 whp and be happy with the fast spool and fun powaz

*ignorance and conjecture*!

Had to join in.

Edit: And yes, DSM injectors will fit with some futzing, and of course the resistor.

there is a sponsor deatschworks who sells DROP in injectors cheap, or since yer top feed u could get rb26 inj and wire in a resitor, as far as your horsepower goals eh.... **** high horse power i wanted it and all it got me was huge debt and a car that STILL dosent run, if u want moderate HP get a gt28rs it will make lil over 300 and spool similar to stock or i mean 300 hp in a car that weighs 2800 lbs is nothing to scoff at (idk if i got weight right )

Nah, that's about right with the weight -- 300hp(with a decent powerband) in an S-chassis is a ton of fun.

Wow, I thought i was being greedy for 300atw with my rb20.......Dude, Your car would not even be streetable with 600hp. When your bigass turbo hit at like 5k rpm.....you would eat the rearend of the car in front of you.

I think he'd end up facing the opposite direction . I'd say gtrs or a 16g for a fun car unless you just want a highway queen.

i would try and use a 3071r twin scroll ,thats what i plan on runnin, and since the rb20 already has a twin scroll manifold you can use it as long as your internally gated. 600hp would be verrrrrry hard to reach in a 20 if you want that go get a 26, plus you dont need 600hp in a s13 unless your full drag with suspension and roll cage etc....

600hp will be unstreetable ... .... even if you did do it and put it on the street it would be super laggy and when it spooled itd be like a space shuttle taking off.... IF you had traction and without some MT drag slicks i dont think itll happen ... and to put the icing on the cake youd need to FULLY build the motor... $$$$$.... the better idea would be to swap a vette motor into the car and turbo it ....

Maybe he's thinking about how turbos are advertised? "560whp with proper upgrades" but who knows...

Go for 300whp, example:

Brand new Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano makes 611hp at motor, and weighs 3700 lbs. = that's a 6.05xxx lb per horsepower deal

a 400hp(at motor) S13 is 6.75 lb per horsepower...

by no means am I saying you can keep up with a ferrari, but at least the numbers are close...you can always dream.

yeah 600 on an s chassy is wayyyy too much... if you want to beat everything on the road.. go for 350 to 400 whp... you will need pistons and at least arp rod bolts and acl bearings... along with big injectors, and to do it safely i would highly reccamend race gas or water methenol injection too

There is no such thing as too much HP,but there is a thing called physics..and Physically you do not need 600whp,im pretty sure 300whp would beat anything in alex city! ...as for 350 - 400whp ...you can do that on a stock block with FMIC,turbo, injectors, and tune

ANd yeah Carlh is right, just let this thread DIE!!

and for the record OP don't own the car anymore,he has a DSM

and here is an example of his ricehttp://memimage.cardomain.com/...e.jpg
