I have a 1990 skyline gts-t type m and its mostly stock except for mild exhaust and coil overs. my stock turbo recently decided to leak oil an im in need of replacing the CHRA or replace the whole turbo with a good aftermarket one that will retain the same boost.

I AM A NEWBIE TO SKYLINES AND TURBO CARS so please have some patience with me.

That being said I have looked at google everyday for the past 2 weeks to see if i can solve this myself and no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction to get this solved/fixed. any honest help is greatly appreciated.

I would find a shop that will rebuild your turbo or if it is to far gone suggest a similar replacement for you. Most cities I think typically have a turbo guy around the area.

mine is ball bearing style i found out the hard way. haha i talked with a guy at a turbo shop today and he said they dont rebuild ball bearing turbos. i just ordered an oem one from the same year and engine skyline.
