Nismo241 was VERY helpful for my swap. we are working on it right now.

the only extra things I bought for the swap wereboost guagemanual boost controllerelectric fansmisc guagesfluidscutting tools are a MUST. A good one. That intercooler piping is murder. I want to kick some **** right nowOther than that the swap has gone alright. It slid right in. Like it was supposed to be there. Except for the oil pan and hood.

2 ways to do it.

1st buy mounts everything works with out modin anything IE hood and oilpan.

or use the crossmember and notch the hood make the swaybar be a good boy and not impeed on the oilpan. and have the shifter off a little too.

so you gotta buy custom mounts or aftermarket mounts for the RB20 to clear the hood and oil pan w/o any mods?

thats the word.

The hood WILL actually work though, what you have to do is cut about 6" square out of the plastic cover.. I plan on putting a real small hood scoop there to make the most out of having a hole, the sway bar issue seems to be an R32 problem, R33 people have been hit and miss with that one.

McKinney motorsports makes an awesome kit for both getting the engine in , and having a proper driveshaft length, it's be awesome if you could swing the price.

I believe Unstable Hybrids also makes a mount kit, I haven't heard as much about it though their test car looks like it fit very well.

dont worry bout the hood...a couple of washers and you dont have to cat anything. as for the oil pan...minor rubbing fixed with a mallet.
