I have an Rb25det with an rb20det transmission. Long story anyways.

I was wondering about how much torque these things can take. I was gonna turn my boost up to about 12 PSI on the rb25 If it can take it and I was gonna get a new clutch too.

I can use a 300zx N/A clutch Correct? An Rb25 trans is about 1200+ shipping correct? And I can use a stock 240sx Manual Driveshaft correct? Also if anyone has a manual Driveshaft s13 I would like to buy it, yars around here dont have any 240s, 1 friend has one I might get but other than that I'm SOL.

Thanks alot I did all my research on rb25 and then it turns out to have an rb20 trans BS. anyways thanks again

You should be fine with the rb20 transmission. People have used them on 400+ HP cars. 12 PSI isn't going to be a lot more than stock of 8.

Search, but I believe the answer is yes

That is pretty much what I have seen them going for, which sucks considering for 3K more you could get an RB26 with a RB25 transmission.

Sorry to hear that, I just gave mine away

RB20DET transmission is very similar to KA24 transmission.

Go to a KA forum and check out the turbo'd cars' dyno sheets. You'll see that the KA transmission holds up quite well beyond 300 hp, which is about where you'll be.

It is an RB20 transmission so I should be able to I think. If it was rb20 engine rb20 trans I know it would work.

run a sprung hub and dont do 6k clutch dumps and you will be fine.be gentle with it and dont bang gears or excessive clutch dumps.
