So im a derp and missed this forum and kept trying to post in the tech section of the 240sx portion... Anyways after dealing with a nightmare of wiring my motor into my chassis with no plugs(no donor engine harness) i finally got it running. Now heres the thing on a brand new sunpro style line boost gauge im only pulling 17" of vacuum at idle, this seems low for a healthy engine. now the other thing is my motor takes a bit of cranking to start. Could this be related to my low vacuum? Ive been checking for leaks but really found nothing.

Also does anyone have a list of what each of the body harness wires go to on the engine harness?

Thanks for the help!

could just be the start signal for the ecu. If it's not at the ecu from the dash plug it will take a while for it to kick over. Are you sure your sunpro gauge isn't off?

hey, my rb20det runs the same vacuum at idle and it runs perfect. i usually idle around 18-20 cruising is 10-12 and coasting off throttle is about 24-25 vacuum.
