alright guys heres wuts going on ive got my car at a guys house getting it wired he says its all wired and that the timing was way off (no compression) so he said he would time it no charge well idk if he knows what hes doing sounded like he did but he calls me and says that there is something wrong with my engine, that when it turns over its pushing air out the intake. tht sounds like he has the timing 180 off to me, like he timed it on the decompresion stroke instead of on the compression stroke or something . so anyone know if its just him failing at timing or if there actualy is a problem with the engine. thanks

he didnt time it backwards lol its probably off a couple teeth, but it is still a serious problem and can bend valves.

the first time i timed my rb20, i used the 2nd dot on the intake cam gear..and lined it up with the timing mark on the plate... needless to say there was no compression...no valves were bent though...a quick re timing and she fired up
