so i recently got an rb20det swapped s13 coupe. been reading a lot up about them, and having some problems with no luck.

first, it started with what i think/hope to be a boost leak. motor pulls fine til about 4k-4500k then it makes a screaming sound. horribly loud. well i read up that a common boost leak spot is the seal behind the tps going bad causing it to leak. and that that particular seal cannot be replaced and a new throttle body is in order. in the process the bottom bolt holding the tps broke. well the head of the screw.

now, i also read that ka24 tb's are the same size and should work. is this correct? if so it would be a lot easier to get ahold of a ka tb rather than a stock rb tb. can anyone help with this? thanks in advance

Not sure on the rb motors but ka and sr throttle bodies are pretty much the same. And actually the throttle body I use on my sr is fwd sr20de tb because with the greddy intake mani the throttle cable pully lines up a little better.
