RB20det suspected Coil Pack problem

Hello all,
New to the RB world, I have a problem. The motor seems to be running threw coil packs, on my 3rd set of used ones. Runs perfect for a few weeks or months on a set and then starts to break up at high boost.
My question is, could this be because of the used coil packs I'v been getting or another possible problem? I would not mind investing in a new set of Splitfires as long as I know its not going to just happen to those as well. Just don’t want to spend nearly $500 on them and not solve the problem or worse have them ruined in the process.

There are plenty of threads on NICO, skylinesaustralia, and all over the net about how to clean up and fix failing coil packs. Give that a shot before you even attempt spending money on splitfires.

how u know they r bad, did u check resistance ? are you perhaps blowing out spark ? how much is high boost ? maybe you need an ign upgrade (hks dli) or okada plasma booster, maybe even the new 5zigen econ. what plugs r u running ? (bkr7e) i am going to be a guinea pig for the pulstar plugs, and dyno with them, dyno with bkr7e, and dyno with hks dli in a couple weeks ! i let u know how it goes

i just painted mine with liquid tape, i did 3 coats, mine worked good i was just having some spare time
