last 2 problems before swap will be complete. Surging between 1500 to 2000 rpms and as soon as BOV opens (9 psi) motor starts missing (slight backfire through exhaust). I have upgraded the fuel pump ,filter, replaced the O2 sensor, checked and replaced vacuum lines to no avail. Any help will be much appreciated.

So you are running the 255 pump but no AFPR? Maybe your car is ruinning too rich and when the bov releases, its too much fuel tu burn. Also, what bov are you using? Is it recerc or vented?

Like the 240sx forum reads, 255 fuel pump, no fuel pressure regulator. Thats next. The BOV is stock.

Did you ever get your surging problem fixed. Mine also surges around the rpm. Ive scooped the tps and crank angel sensor. They grafted fine, but my problem is still there.

Is your BOV recirculating or is it atmospheric?
