rb20det start up, and idling trouble

wassup,

recently aquired an rb20det s13 coupe and just started really started daily driving it after my s14 ka-t went boom.

PROBLEM: some times it starts, but for the most part i have to turn the ignition and gas it at the same time for it to crank. And then when it does crank and it barely idles then cuts. The fascinating thing is that right b4 it cuts you can catch it from dying by keeping it revved at 900-1k rpm, and its drivable when you run it through the gears but when at a stop, and idling it would start to die again, and then i would have to keep it revved again.

You have a Walbro Fuel pump? Bad gas maybe? My rb20 would be a pain the *** to start and would never idle right and found out that my walbro was dumping to much fuel during idle...a Nismo FPR fixed that right away...

Whats Your set up any recent mods or changes done to the motor?
