well, the RB25 is too expensive, and people always tell me not to get a SR cause you spend alot of money and don't get as much power as you should. I don't want to spend 4k to get 300hp

i have an hks hi-power 2.5'' exhaust on my s14. when it was ka powered, I had to use a silencer to make it sound decent, with the rb20, I took out the silencer and it is way deeper and even more quiet. the i-6 definately sounds better than the i-4's. my buddy has an s13 with red top sr and apex exhaust...sounds like a farty a** n/a civic .

[QUOTE=Carl H]lol you guys are such ricers talking about the sound of the motor :P i guess we should all run around with no mufflers and go poppin' on every shift, who cares what it would sound like, we would be faster:) the exhaust market is big buisness cuz nobody wants a car that sounds like an overpowered jet ski. Tuners appreciate a nice, deep exhaust note, Ricers just want a loud a** muffler you can hear miles away. BIG DIFFERENCE!

Dang... so this BOV is the one that makes the fluttering sound? It sounds so nice. Is your car stock except for the exhaust?

fluttering = bad.this is compressor surge which is detrimental to the turbo's longevity.
