Hey guys, I've been working on my rb20 swap for a few months now. I've been having a few problems with it now that its done. First off the rb20 is off a cefiro (silver top) well i got the engine running and I blew the original Ecu because I installed the White and purple wire for the ignition power incorrectly. The car ran fine for a few weeks beore it gave out and it idle fine. well when i replaced the ecu i replaced it with an r32 ECU and it works great except when the car warms up it idle kind of rough. If you step on the revs fine to red line. I'm not sure what the problem could be. Any idea? I have fmic, walbro,3 inch turbo back, and was running some pulstar plugs (figured idle try them out) . i would appreciate any input. I've also checked all the IC plumbing for leack and they all seem fine.

My rb25 did this when it was warm and it was because there was a sensor broke on my idle air control valve.

How hard are those to come by? I also did a cold compression test and and all my numbers were really low, but the car does not run like it has Low compresion, and it doesnt sound like a diesel, and it has plenty of power, and builds boost just fine. I am also beginning to believe that the motor had a been messed with before. It came with an rb25 turbo installed.

Well I think I found the problem... I was looking up wiring diagrams for a SAFC Neo my car when i came across some wiring differences for the r32 ecu and the a31 ecu apparently the ecu have the throttle sensor wire in different locations not to mention a ground. look at N4e (a31 rb20det) and N4a (r32 rb20det) http://www.nengun.com/doc/nengun-0975-0 ... wiring.pdf I am going to try and fix the wiring differences between the ecu and the harness and if a cant I'll go and order an a31 ecu.
