Hey guys what's up.

Well I thought I'd ask this question here b/c even though the motor is in a 240 the motor and ecu have to used.

I was just wondering if anybody has figured out how to remove the speed limiter from the RB20det motor? Yes there is the cutting of the #53 wire but that apparenly does not let you exit from the HICAS diognostic setting. So other then retuning the ECU, using an Apexi Power FC or some other similar product is there any other way that works?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone and take care.

clip the wire, chip the ecu or get one of those things that clamp voltage from the speed sensor so it has no idea how fast you are going.course you could get a pfc and fix it that way actualy, if the motor has been swapped into a s chassis the chances are the speed sensor hasnt been wired up so it wont have a speed limiter and most cars dont have hicas so no worries.

Judging by his sig, I doubt it's swapped into a 240 though.

I agree, it works for a 240 not sure on a skyline...the apex might be your best bet since you want to go that fast you would need something to manage the power you want to get.
