rb20det rb25 turbo? oil Filter?

Before everyone tells me to search, I HAVE. I have not come up with a " for sure" answer. What oil filter to use? also what is the difference between the rb25det turbo and rb20det turbo, can i use it on the rb20 and what kinda gains can i expect?

i always use a OEM nissan filter for a KA. i think they all are the same.

look through the stickies for the part number for the oil filter. The rb25det turbo is a tad larger than the rb20det turbo, it bolts right up for a small gain. Nobody is gonna give u a for sure answer on the gains but it will proly be around 250hp with boltons and a tune. Probably should change injectors at this point as the stock ones are 270cc. This is just off the top of my head, u may want to search a little harder for more details. And your welcome, dont expect many ppl to spoon feed u here.

no injector change need quite yet but you can run a few more psi on the rb25 compared to the rb20. I kinda have been looking for one, but not real hard.

Also the flow of the rb25's with be more at a given psi than the rb25, so 14psi on say the rb25 isn't necessarily 14 on the rb20, not saying you should run either turbo that high anyway.

Thank you very much for the info. Now I was on the stickies and i saw a number of oil filters used, thats why I asked so to get a general idea. I have 440cc on there now plus it is tuned via eprom. I do want to get an FM intercooler, but I have a chance to get this turbo so ima do it. Thanx for everything guys.

Don't buy an rb25 turbo. I did and then after removing the rb20 and comparing the 2.....I bought a used apexi turbo. The size difference in next to nothing and your still rockin a ceramic blade turbo. Save your money for a real turbo. nothing crazy, but better than rb25 320HP HKS GT2530 Turbo T3 +Dump R32 RB20DET R33 RB25DET

As for oil filter.......stock ka filter... buy em at nissan. pn#15208-55y00My local dealer sells them buy 3 get one free:)
