Rb20det-r wiring

So i bought a rb20det-r from an hr31 gts-r and the wirring is completely diferent to that of the diys in this forum i bought the motor with a section cutt off the loom i tried looking for pinout diagrams on hr31 but they only have them for the nics rb20 im new to this whole swap thing would be my first rb swap, i know about searching but this rb i have is aperrantly very diferent to the other rb20s so help would be apreciated.

Might be easier to use the R32 harness and switch the CAS,coils and injectors.

Did you also get the nice custom GTS-R exhaust manifold with it? I really wish I got a GTS-R instead of a regular GTS

Yes i do have the gts-r manifold and i love it the motor came with the heatshield on the manifold too

the rb20 rb25 and 300zx all pretty much share the same ecu pin outs. I doubt its that much different from the pinout on the how to. You can download the r32 service manual pdf somewhere on google for free just search for it. It has one good diagram of the entire system that really helped me. I just wired 5 of the power supply wires to a toggle and like 2 grounds that are kind of jigged together already. Add fuel pump and start signal. The only thing that you don't get with that is the ground signal to tell the ecm to enrichen for crank*. It will start with a few flicks of the throttle and it ran like a champ.

Your next best option is a plug and crank wiring specialities harness.....I wish ida waited the 3wks for them to make it.

Lexcrob sorry idk how to pm you i am new to this forum but r31 and r32 wirring is not the same. Most r31 rb20s are nics but i have a gts-r rb20det-r wich is eccs but the wirring is stil different

Yeah the ecu plug looks completely different on the R31 vs R32.
