well i have a 93 240sx with an rb20det in it and it has been running fine until now. the problem i'm having is when i start it up to warm it up it is fine but then today after running for about 5 minutes it just started idling from 700 - 1500 and back down and up... then finally it just died. waited like a minute then started back up ran fine... got home no problem.. then when i got home i restarted it let it warm up again after letting it sit for about 5 hours... same thing occured revved up then down then died. the only thing i have done diff in last couple days was flush the radiator... and i tried to get as much air out as possible but i think there might still be some in there... would that cause this problem? thanks

you need to get a multi meter with continuty on it.....unplug the grey plug that is on the tps and check pins 2 and 3 for continuty, if there is none when its closed then the idle switch isnt closing right.

cleaned iacv, changed spark plugs, cleaned throttle body, checked coil packs, checked tps, everything is great but still having same problem... now the car at operating temp still fluctuates idle and then dies or sometimes just dies... but then i can start the car right back up ... weird

Checked your oil? Any smoke in your exhaust?

Mine did the same thing and the IAC was bad, so I bypassed and blocked the IAC and the AAC and made my own idle control valve. Not saying that's the problem, but you might take it off and shake it. If it sounds like there is something rattling inside, then it's probably bad.
