my rb20det s13 will not hold a rev, it sounds like the turbo will build pressure then drop off, it has no problem doing a brake stand but normal driving sux

Chances are you have a leak in one of your couplers. Take a look.

i only have a very mall pin hole leak in my cold pipe

Fix it then see if you get the same results. Take another look at your couplers. One thing people do is over look how tight the clamps are.

the last turbo i had on the rb spit some oil into my intercooler so any boost leaks i have now are pissing oil or have some oily residue

that's probbly cause your pipes not holding the pressure
