rb20det problem

hay guys i have 1988 a31 cefiro was rb20de auto now rb20det manual from a 1993 skyline , just got her runing but it cuts out under revs, did ecu dio check and it cum up with 13 Coolent temperature circuit, 43 Throttle position circuit, loom im runing is cefiro rb20de with plugs changed 4 skyline , but i do have origanil skyline loom it just need the 3 plugs the go cross to dash changed , what do u reckon i should do?

neutral saftey switch hasnt been rewired , ecu is bugging out bc it think its not in neutral and is not getting a speed sensor feed bk

ecu could care less for the neutral sensor...tons of ppl rocking out swaps w/o one.the reason the car is most likely cutting out is due to the combination of bad coolant temp sensor (or wiring) and bad tps (or wiring).recheck wiring and see if there are any errors.

SullivanRacing06 yes the neutral sencor has been rewiring or the car wouldnt even start

hey, i did the RB20DET swap into my S13 and followed the wiring guide that was posted under your name. i am having a problem getting it to turn over. she wont even try, all i get it the clicking sound from the starter relay. will you be able to help me out? i can really use it right now. i just wrecked the truck i had and the S13 is my only hope of having a car again. if you can help i would appriecate it very much.

yea not s*** ae car still at auto sparky iv tryed new tps, coolent temp , afm , ecu, cas iv run out of ideas ae

i havent put up any diagrams im haveing trouble with my rb20det to

hay man i cant help you with the wiring diagram but if you are hearing clicking from your starter motor , it either your relay or your batterys flat , easy to test your relay grab a jumper cable hock it onto + of your battary and other end on a long screw driver and touch it onto solenoid on your starter motor

im having a similar cut at around 3500. i think ive got it narrowed down to a boost leak and possibly tps. the tube on the aac is broken, so i can pull it off by hand

check everything youll be surprised what you find. ....

run a ground from your starter bolts to a chasis ground. i had that problem too even with full charged battery. GROUNDS ARE VERY IMPORTANT remember that.
