rb20det problem

I just dropped my RB20det into my s13 and finished up the wiring and it started fine...but when i'd try to gas it..it wouldn't even rev up...it'd cut off all of the sudden...but when i'm not pressing the gas it'd sound fine...need to know if anyone can helpme with this problem...thanks

MAF sensor...does it rev to about 2500 and bog out?? The CAS plug might also not be seated firmly.

Need some better description of the problems.

Check for boost leaks. Mine did the same thing and it turned out to be a hole in my intercooler. If the MAFS reading is not accurate, the ECU freaks and stumbles cause it won't have the propper a/f ratio.

If it'll rev up and hit a wall, it's teh MAF circuit, or MAF itself, I had the same problem when I did mine.
