RB20DET - Problem Fuel Injectors do not fire!!!!!!!Cranks and cranks and that is all.It does not burp, fart or spit.

Has sparkCAS works at least with sparkFuel Pressure is presentFuel lines are correctExhaust cam key has broken off inside of the CAS.Tried to get it out and glue it, but it is stuck inside.Lined up the CAS according to the broken area on the cam.But car doesn't even give me a fart, flame or a burp.

Green Relays click when I turn the key and thats it.Fuel pump turns on with or without Green relays installed.Does anyone else's car work the same way??

I have power at the injector leads all the time. (Batt voltage)But have no grounding from the ECU.Have tried jumping the harness, (taking wires from right out of the ECU straight to the injectors.

I've searched and searched couldn't find the thread I'm looking for.I did find a perfect thread with the same exact problem 2-3 weeks ago, but yet I cannot now.

If you have any information please let me know

i assume you have good ground to the ecu(its not just laying on the carpet), and strap ground from block to chassis?

As of right now, the ECU i just laying on the carpet. The engine ground is good, I put a couple of different ground for that.

So the ECU grounds itself through the case??If so then I am such a dumbass.If this works I give you permission to kick me in the huevos.

I sooo hope that this works.

The ecu's are supposed to be good.( i have two)

I've been working on this car for a while.I think that a long time ago like december i had the ecu bolted up and it still had the same problem. Can't be sure it was a long time ago.

I'm definetly going to try it tonight though.

Thanks a lot.If you have any other advise or anything let me know.

I haven't been able to go work on my car, but i did look up a couple things.I found that the ECU has several grounds through the harness.http://www.plxdevices.com/ECUD...nd%22

Would the injectors not work if the ECU wasn't bolted down??

BreaKing NEWS!!!!I've found the or one of many problems thats wrong with my car.

I've found that the O2 sensor was wired inncorrectly. Thats why I have a SHORT in my car. That's why I've Blown 2 ECU's!!!!!

Hopefully thats why my injectors wont fire.Pin 115 )2 sensor ground) seems to be in the same circiut as the injectors and stuff.

I'm going to pull the harness apart and fix it.Then check to see if there were anymore shorts wired into my car!!!!

I finally gave up on the wiring.I don't know shyt about wiring thats why I initially paid someone to wire my harness.AND........ I got FOCKED!!!!!!

This guy Collin re-wired my harness and he said that about 8 wires were eitherWired to the wrong thingsor not hooked up at all

He worked on it for a couple hours and didn't rape me another $250.00!!!!!!

Car's not running yet.I have to check the Valve timing.I think its the Cams, when I rebuilt the motor, the engine builder had put the cams in the head and I never checked them.(A no no on my part)So next weekend I have something to do.

So more good news!!!!!My 2 other ECU'S are NOT Blown!!!!!!!!!!!!!So I have 3 count it One, Two THREE working ECU's.I know other guys were looking for them.Well I got them.

it was all working before right-? i have the same problem - one day engine was running ok still had bugs- Them boom wont turn over - i hear the relays click fuel pump as well- maybe a bad sensor - temp- iac - going to try a few things- -- also doing the GN coil conversion as well - will keep u post and keep me posted if u find out anything

Nope the car has never ran.When i bought the front clip from VENUS AUTO.It was totally BLOWN!!So I had to rebuild it, everything in this motor is either new or freshened up.

My problem was the wiring.This guy had done the wiring for me and I don't know what he did.

8 wires were either wired to the wrong things or not hooked up at all.

The car should at least turn over and try to start if not idle crappy.The IACV & temp sensor will not keep your car from starting.It might not idle or it'll run crappy in safe mode.But it will turn over.

If your car was running before I'd definetly check for a loose wire somewhere.

mine started not to work as well-- == did you test ur starter-- i checked everything for the last two weeks on mine- had a buddy come over late last night -- ****ed with starter BOOM_wanted to turn over- but the starter motor is bad gong to take out clean and take it to get tested if it solves mine- maybe you should double check ur s-- jump ur starter-?will let u know

How much do you want for one of your working ecu's????? I have one, but its tuned and i dont know what its tuned for, but i would like to get a stock one and start over from scratch. Shipping quote to 21207

SHE"S FINALLY RUNNING!!!!!!! Cam timing was off by 1 tooth and Ignition timing was off 180 DegreesDon't know what I did with the Timing belt, but it was off, fixed it and still didn't run. So I was thinking about the CAS.

My CAS mounting tab/Key was broken when I got my motor.So I wasn't sure how it was installed.I could see the broken piece but it didn't exactly match the broken piece in the CAS. I flipped it over...And the motor started without hesistation.She sounds Fawking MEAN!!!

Didn't let it run for too long, didn't have Rad or Oil Pressure gauge hooked up yet. But soon.IC piping coming soon.Plus other goodies!!!

Thanks to everyone that has helped me out these LONGGG 2.5 years!!!When I get her on the street def rockin a NICO sticker!!
