personal preference. I would chose the rb20 over an SR cause its cheaper for similar performance.

good point i just wish sr's clips weren't so overpriced, if i would have had money a year ago it would have cost me about $1000 less to do this project. Why did you need heater controls anyway?

RB20 is gonna be real old. Also heavier. I'd go SR pretty much any day, though if you have a lot of cash they why not be unique and go with an incredible RB20 project?

Yeha the RB20 is from a R32 Skyline GTSt and a few other cars. The SR can be found in S13, S14, and S15, so I think you have more of a selction in which to find a good motor. An RB20 doesnt cost any more to install than an SR. The RB25 is a different story.I want to go with a KA-T over both of these choices. But if I swap, it would be an RB20 (even the RB25 if I have the money)

You also will need to check laws (though that doesn't stop a lot of people). An engine that is older than the rest of your car cannot legally be swapped in, at least in GA. RB20= pre S14, but as I said, most people don't care.

Any motor not released in the US is illegal to put in your 240, in every state. But that doesnt stop anyone :D

The SR was released in the US, it was just missing the whole "turbo" thing, and that didn't change much...........
