i have all the wires hooked up except the white and purple wire. would this wire cause me not to get spark. the reason its not hooked up is cause it was cut next to the firewall. from what i understand it connects to the black and red wire in the front by the fuse box, but where does it go on the motor side. I didnt see where it could go to the ecu. I dont even know if this is the problem though. I have fuel, motor is turning but no spark. pulled plug to see and nothing. how do i check and see if it is the ignitor or the cas? sorry, this is my first rb swap. any help would be appreciated.

It's been a while...

But purple/white is ig power for sure, so that is your problem. 70% sure it went to coil pack harness power?

so white and purple wire connects to the thick white wire coming out of the fuse box correct? where does the other side of it connect to? like i said before i'm not sure because it was cut when i got the swap.

That thick White wire should come from the Ignition Relay.

Check the sticky's, there should be a whole write up how to wire it.I just sent mine out.

But from just getting done with a ignition swap, i know that thick wire goes to the relay..

Maybe its on the other side of the relay.... Not sure.

i know the white/ purp wire connects to the ign realay in the fuse box, but where does the other end of the wire tie into the rb harness. it was cut on my swap and was essentially a floating wire that connected to nothing

Have you checked the Stickys of How to wire XYZ swap???

But I would only ASSUME that wire would connect to the ignition switch.DO NOT WIRE IT BEFORE YOU SEARCH!!!!

Because there should be the thick white wire that is 12V + for the Coils, then there would be a 12V+ from the batt, a Ground and a Signal wire connected to that relay.

Best bet is to SEARCH!!

i have done everything else from the stickys. the only thing they say is connect it to te whir wire on the relay. they say it is for the ignition relay. most harnesses are not cut so it doesnt bother to tell u where the other side of the wire connects into the rb harness. there is no pace for it on the ecu so it must reconnect somewhere in the harness, just not sure where.
