rb20det no spark!!!

Hey guys my rb20det gets no spark. The first thing I did was replace the green relays by the ecu...but discount auto parts sold me 1 grey/blue one and a grey one...Will those relays still work? Or do I have to go to the junker and jack those green relays off a chassis fusebox? How can I check for spark? I took the midsection off and grounded the ignitor, then removed a coil pack and a buddy of mine held a screwdriver to it and saw nothing? I'm used to driving domestic v8 cars with a distributor? Please help me with this...What else could it be? How could I check the cas, and where should I buy it if it's broken? Atleast I get fuel (and already tried starter fluid). All the lights in my car turn on, my brake lights work, fuel pump, starter...all that fun stuff. There is also a grey ( I believe it's a 6pin) plug right before the engine harness breaches the firewall...what the balls is it for? Thanks guys! I don't know what else to do!!!!

hey man whats up i'm in miami too.

go to autozone and tell the you want a blower relay from a s14. that's what i had to get. i had the same problem and it fixed it for me.

I'm on sfldrifters name rb_reds13. I'm going nuts with my car. Now I have a crack in the oil pan right above the threads I have to try welding...worst comes to worst I have to take the pan off...( which I have no time for) so I'll have to end up selling the car as is. I need this **** running bad....I'll never motor swap my daily again...with no help that is...Maybe we could terrorize the streets some time!

Now I have spark. Atleast I'm getting somewhere, but now I have no injector pulse. I put the bulb thing to it ( can't think of the name right now...so tired. ) and it wouldnt light up. When I spray starter fluid to it it sputters. I just don't know what to do anymore. If anybody in the miami area could help me out that has done an s13 sohc rb20det swap. Or is confident they would be able to finish it. Let me know. I'm willing to pay or am willing to sort something out...I have some rims I'll give you? 17x7.5 I think +47 offset.
