I have read all of the faq possible that i can find. However the majority of this FAQ is about wiring. I am putting an Rb20det into my 91 s13. I am sure i have enough info about wiring to get all of that taken care off. the only info i havent been able to find is what all it takes to install the Rb itself. Do you have to use the rb sub frame or can you use the ka sub frame? RB motor mounts, or Ka motor mounts? Ka drive shaft, or Rb drive shaft? I have a z32 Maf meter to use, this is correct right? Also it would help if the pics in the faq actually were able to be displayed. Please Help,Thanks.

Welcome to the club. Good luck with your swap.

The two choices most people choose from to mount the RB in an S13 are:1.) Stock S13 xmember with custom mounts (McKinney for example)2.) Stock R32 or C31 xmember with stock RB mounts. You might have to pound on the firewall or tunnel a hair, but it fits in there. You also may have a little run on the steering column with the turbo elbow.

Custom mounts are probably the better way. But you have to pay for them.

You should be able to use the stock S13 KA driveshaft with your RB20 transmission. Should bolt up correctly...

If you are looking to up your HP a Z32 Maf is fine... Not sure exactly how much HP it will allow.. but I would guess over 400 with is about the limit from a stock RB20det... so you should be just fine.

oh yeah... compression.... should be 175 to 180 psi I think.

does anyone have any pics of these custom mounts. I have all of the materials and capabilities to make custom mounts. However i cannot seem to find any good pics of them to get a general idea as far as what i need to do. can anyone post some pics of these mounts.

well i get everything mounted and bolted up just fine. However now I am getting my arse kicked on the wiring. Either the wiring on my harness in different, or i cant seem to find someone with a good right up.
